Completed
in 1969 at a cost of $1.6 million, this facility is used
by sports teams, students majoring in health and
physical education programs, and the University dance
program, as well as for general recreation and
intramural programs. The
gym
can be configured to house four basketball courts, four
tennis courts, four volleyball courts, or any
combination of the three. The facility also features a
200-yard indoor track,
swimming pool,
exercise rooms, weight room, and
dance studio.
